Cruise 4 days and 3 night
Departure by flight in the morning from Quito til Fransisco de Orellana, which is an oil production center, name given by the man who discovered the Amazonas river in 1541. In the flourishing town, the boat El Manatee will be waiting to transport you through the area of Amazonas. The staff at the boat have lots of knowledge about the different kinds of cultures and tribes that are living along the river area and you will get to learn a lot about the river and its people, plants and more than 560 different species of birds. The boat will transport you along the river to visit different ecosystem and reserves, such as the National park of Yasuni and the biological reserve of Limoncocha.

Saturday
We leave the Limoncocha reserve by canoe, to visit a unique part of the rain forest. Some hills with clay ravines have the perfect view to observe different kinds of parrots, having a meal. Thereafter we return to the boat and visit, among other things, plants and monkeys. We continue through Limoncocha, which is one of the the linguistic centres of south america, and today, the only national park in Ecuador. When we get there, we go on board on a boat and sail towards the beach in an ecosystem that has more than 470 different types of birds. Thereafter we go fishing piranhas and take a short walk. When night falls, you can see the black caimans sneak around. We return thereafter to the boarder to have dinner.

Sunday
The day begins with a visit in the museum of Pompeya, which is a small archeological exhibition of funeral urns, dated to a couple of centurys back in time. Tools will be shown to give you a hint about how people were living back in time. We will get to see one of the giants of Amazonas, the Ceibo tree, that reaches up to 80 meters above ground level. We also get the opportunity to paddle through Napo and visit a real indian house, to learn more about their way of living.

Monday
We return back home, while our boat transports us counter current, We get our last guided tour through the rain forest before we get transported to the airport to return to Quito.
